POP ID's are required for all individual players who participate in any official Pokemon events, including League and Prerelease.
Players can only have any one POP ID so if you can't remember or find the ID #, we suggest reaching out to Pokemon directly.
How to acquire a POP ID:
Step 1: Create a Pokemon Trainers Central Account. Link here: Join Pokemon Trainer Central
*Parents/Guardians: make the account under your name, even if you do not play Pokemon. There is a way to add children (names & POP IDs) to your account.
Step 2: Attach or generate a POP ID once you have an account. If you attend a Pokemon Event without an ID, the shop or event organizers may give you a piece of paper with an ID on it and instructions on how to complete registration. This ID can be attached to your Pokemon Trainer Account. If you did not receive or have a piece of paper with an ID on it, then under your Pokemon Trainer Account you can generate an ID. You must do this for each player on the account.
Pokemon Access App:
If you'd like an easy and convient way to keep track of your or your child's POP ID, you can download the Pokemon Access App and link it to your Pokemon Trainer Central Account. This app makes it easier to not only view your POP ID in addition to search Pokemon Events in your area and more!
