Hive - Animal Themed, Strategy Game
Use your insects to trap your opponent's Queen Bee in this board-less abstract game.
Hive is a highly addictive strategic game for two players that is not restricted by a board and can be played anywhere on any flat surface. Hive is made up of twenty two pieces, eleven black and eleven white, resembling a variety of creatures each with a unique way of moving.
With no setting up to do, the game begins when the first piece is placed down. As the subsequent pieces are placed this forms a pattern that becomes the playing surface (the pieces themselves become the board). Unlike other such games, the pieces are never eliminated and not all have to be played. The object of the game is to totally surround your opponent's queen, while at the same time trying to block your opponent from doing likewise to your queen. The player to totally surround his opponent's queen wins the game.
Zombie Teenz - Dice Rolling, Cooperative, Legacy, Zombie Themed, Kids Game
Cooperate to protect your town from Zombie Hordes. A game that evolves as you play!
Zombies are attacking the entire town! Cooperate with your friends and launch an expedition to drive off the overwhelming hordes. Collect the 4 Ingredients and brew the antidote that will save the world!
Zombie Teenz Evolution is the sequel to Zombie Kidz Evolution (#1 Kids' Game on BGG). It is a standalone game with a different set of rules, so you don’t need to have played the first game to jump into the second. The rules are slightly more advanced and will require a little more strategic thinking.
Zombie Teenz Evolution follows the same general guidelines as its predecessor: a fast and simple game whose rules evolve from game to game through the opening of 14 ‘Mystery’ envelopes. By accomplishing special Missions, players unlock additional content that will provide a richer experience, while constantly renewing the enjoyment of the game. The icing on the cake: the two games are compatible! You will be able to play Zombie Kidz with your Zombie Teenz, and vice versa! -description from publisher
Reload - Modular Board, Team Based, Sci-Fi Themed, Adventure Game
"In the near future, the mega-corporations of the military-industrial complex have invested trillions developing cybernetically enhanced clone soldiers for off-world exploration. Seeking to build robust teams for future missions — and more importantly, to land lucrative government contracts — they have created special training islands. On these islands, they are able to simulate all of the deadly conditions their soldiers may face on remote planets.
To fund these expensive programs and the military-grade innovations built into their test subjects, the arms manufacturers have teamed up with media moguls to create and promote broadcast competitions live from the islands' training grounds. Thus was born "RELOAD", the biggest TV show on the planet, with the most charismatic and capable subjects competing in front of millions of avid viewers to win fame for themselves and fortunes for their creators.
In Reload, you get to engage in this battle-royale experience thanks to an innovative action dice system that offers fast-paced play and the freedom to explore the island while fighting for fame."- description from boardgamegeek.com
Splendor Duel - 2 Player, Engine Building, Economic, Strategy Game
The award-winning game Splendor returns with this fresh take on its classic drafting gameplay. Featuring the clever engine building that Splendor is known for, Splendor Duel offers a compact, tight two-player experience that will be instantly recognizable to fans of the original game, while also adding new decisions and mechanisms that offer deeper strategic options.
The new common board has players drafting Gem, Gold and rare Pearl tokens from a 5x5 grid. Only allowed to draft up to 3 tokens in a consecutive line, taking tokens will create gaps in the board and will limit how many and what kind of token players will be able to take in future turns.
Co-designed by Marc André (Splendor) and Bruno Cathala (7 Wonders Duel, Kingdomino), Splendor Duel is an exciting new entry in the Splendor product line. -description by publisher
